Why Elsie's Help at Home

Elsie’s Help at Home is a family run business, that focuses around the people who use our service to meet their needs. We are often asked why we chose to call the business Elsie’s Help at Home, Elsie is the name of our daughter, so is very special to us. Throughout our journey at Elsie’s Help at Home, we have found the name to also be just as special to lots of the families we support, many having a family member called Elsie who holds a special place in their hearts and memories.

Family is the most important thing to us, so we know how important it is to find the right support for you or your loved ones.

We are a small close-knit team at Elsie's Help at Home and look after the people who use our services and our staff team as an extension of our family. This has made our service a personable one that people enjoy being a part of as care is not just assistance with personal care or medication, it is finding people you can interact with and that you look forward to visiting.

Our care is tailor made to you, we sit with you and discuss, times, durations, the tasks you would like completed in a way that suits you. Listening to you makes sure that your support is completely person centred to you and your changing needs.

Visits start from 30 minutes; this can be once or multiple times a day depending on what you would like from the service. Respite care is available to enable you to recover from a hospital discharge or illness in the comfort of your own home as well as overnight or live in care.

Continuity and quality are key, and we ensure we provide a fully trained and knowledgeable care team to support you or your loved one with the care or support needed at home.
