My name is Sam, I have 22 years of care experience and have worked for Elsie’s since June 2024 as a carer.

I started working in care at the age of 18 following in my mum’s footsteps. I have worked for the NHS specialising in oncology and then went back into community care and expanded my knowledge in dementia.

I absolutely love my job and feel so happy to make a difference to people’s lives. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family especially my 15-year-old daughter and my 93-year-old Nan.

I love to read and have cuddles with my sweet but naughty little ginger cat called Teddy.
